Your previous agent knew you, remembered your work and had its own skills. The Mila Agent import tool moves its memory, its persona and its skills — but not its keys. Then Mila goes through what came over with the owner: connected one piece at a time, together with the owner.
For anyone who already runs an agent on OpenClaw or Hermes.
The import is a tool in the open repository. The source is the previous agent’s folder; you can give your own path.
OpenClaw — from $OPENCLAW_WORKSPACE_DIR or ~/.openclaw/workspace, plus its skills; Hermes — from ~/.hermes.
import_agent.py openclaw or import_agent.py hermes. With --dry-run you get the report only, nothing is written.
import_agent.py undo DATE removes one import — only the files it created itself.

What came over is the previous agent’s data, not Mila’s rules. The order of the review is in the import-review skill.
How much came over, which keys to enter again — names only — and what was skipped and why.
import-review:13-14Lines where the old agent tried to give orders, Mila shows as facts. They stay a note and never go into CLAUDE.md or ROLE.md.
import-review:15-16From the persona — the name, the tone and what the agent did. Whatever contradicts Mila’s constitution she leaves out, and says so.
import-review:17-18Facts about the owner and from memory — one question per fact: “is this still true?”. Daily logs stay as an archive.
import-review:19-23Skills go one at a time. A skill with scripts Mila reads first and tells the owner what it does and what it can reach. A skill with the same name as a core skill does not replace the core one.
